The Opportunity

Our Annandale Outlet is looking for a Delivery Preparation Coordinator to play a pivotal role in King Living's outlet’s operations, overseeing the critical stage between product readiness and successful customer delivery. The multifaceted position combines logistical coordination, quality control, and customer service to ensure that products are impeccably prepared and safely dispatched to customers. 

As a Delivery Preparation Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing our inventory, from receiving shipments to organizing storage and preparing furniture for dispatch. Your strength, stamina, and dedication are essential for the daily physical tasks of moving and lifting heavy items.

Your Role as a Delivery Preparation Coordinator at King Living:
  • Receive and unload incoming furniture and supplies, verifying quantities and quality, and report any discrepancies.
  • Safely lift, move, and wrap furniture, preparing items for showroom display, customer delivery, or storage.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring that all items are stored safely and accessibly.
  • Perform regular stock checks and participate in inventory control measures.
  • Coordinate with the sales and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of furniture.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent incidents and ensure a safe workplace.
  • Utilize equipment such as hand trucks, and wrapping tools to handle furniture with care.
About You:
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items on a daily basis.
  • Experience in a warehouse role, preferably within a furniture or large goods environment.
  • A positive attitude towards manual labor and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Quick to learn new processes and adapt to changing demands.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety protocols.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
