The Opportunity

The Finance Analyst/Inventory Controller is responsible for performing inventory transactions and analysis on the Cost of Goods Sold and overall inventory accuracy of King Living global entities.

The role is the key reference of various stake holders regarding cost of finished goods and inventory valuation. This role will also be actively involved in projects that refine inventory process of King entities.

The Role:

  • Be the finance expert on inventory transactional and accounting process.
  • Be part of the financial control process of the inventory management to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of stock on hand and goods in transit.
  • Support global stocktake process and complete the financial processes including variance analysis.
  • Complete month end closing process for inventory related accounts including COGS, Balance Sheet reconciliation, EDI process, and inventory analysis reporting.
  • Ensure manual adjustment on stock is completed timely in the system e.g. obsolete stock write-off and stock revaluation.
  • Provide support for statutory audits and compliance activities related to inventory and financial processes.
  • Support system testing in SAP for inventory related projects.
  
About You:

  • Accounting qualifications preferred (bachelor’s degree), CPA/CA qualified or close to qualification.
  • Three years accounting experience preferably in manufacturing/retail/FMCG environment in a large global corporate group
  • Proficient with large ERP systems, preferably SAP, with a proven ability to move through large amounts of data with advanced excel skills
  • Proven ability to be able to contribute to the process of continuous improvement of the financial or inventory accounting functions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to collaborate with a range of stakeholders across all levels.
  • Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Naturally curious with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
