As our People & Culture Coordinator, you'll be the driving force behind our team's success, supporting us in all things P&C.

You will help us bring our global business strategy to life, making sure we're firing on all cylinders and driving success across the board. Supporting and partnering with the P&C team and key stakeholders, the role has direct responsibility for administering all elements of the employee lifecycle whilst ensuring a positive and productive workplace culture across all markets.

The Role 
  
Reporting to the People Operations Business Partner you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient support to the People & Culture team, managers, and employees. The role supports the team’s goal of optimal service delivery through the provision of accurate, efficient, and effective support. Supporting and assisting the P&C team, the role will see you involved in varied tasks which include:
  
  • Responsibility for the end-to-end employment lifecycle administration and maintenance through recruitment administration, reference checks, police checks, preparation of contracts, onboarding, coordination of training and coordination of the exit and offboarding process
  • Being the first point of contact for all People & Culture related enquiries through our P&C ticketing system, responding to first level queries both online and face to face and escalating where necessary
  • Be the systems expert administering and maintaining our HRIS (Employment Hero), L&D on the GO1 platform, Job Adder and other various job boards, MS Office (including SharePoint, Visio, Excel & PowerPoint) ensuring consistency and accuracy across all systems
  • Maintain the organisational chart
  • Assist and support Learning and Development initiatives across the business
  • Partner with the Talent Business Partner, coordinating talent pooling and recruitment efforts for non-senior roles and identifies talent needs
  • Administration of Workers Compensation claims, and incidents and assists with Return-to-Work programs
  • Support with P&C reporting
  • Partner with the P&C team on new projects or initiatives when required

About you  
  • Previous experience in an HR environment with 2+ years’ experience, preferably within a retail environment
  • Strong administration experience
  • Customer focused approach with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
  • Ability to deal with different priorities and remain calm under pressure
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Timely and relevant support to the P&C team, People Leaders and employees
  • Demonstrated strong organisation skills
  • Tech savvy; able to use HRIS and MS products (including SharePoint, Visio, Excel & PowerPoint) and other systems
  • Proactive and always one step ahead
  • Tertiary qualifications in P&C or a Business-related discipline
  • Active team member who works well to deadlines and managing their time efficiently
