The Opportunity

As the Visual Merchandiser Administrator, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of the Brand Environment Department. Your key focus is on executing tasks and projects to ensure prompt showroom activations, thereby elevating customer satisfaction and driving sales. Collaborating closely with the Head of Brand Environment, Visual Merchandising Team, and Marketing Teams cross-functional departments, showrooms, and suppliers, you uphold brand standards critical for business success.

This position demands proficient computer skills, strategic acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of the role to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:  

  • Responsibility for the comprehensive management of the SAP Furniture ordering process across all regions/countries, including monitoring delivery progress to the port to ensure transparent communication regarding estimated time of arrival to the showroom.
  • Initiate and implement process improvement strategies by standardising procedures, identifying inefficiencies, and optimising workflow through Asana to enhance departmental efficiency while also offering comprehensive general administrative support to ensure seamless operations.
  • Lead the maintenance and distribution of the Brand Environment Campaign Kit, ensuring timely updates and effective communication, while also acting as the central hub for collating and disseminating all communication between the department and showrooms to foster seamless information flow.
  • Take charge of financial management responsibilities, including processing invoices, maintaining the monthly Department Budget Tracker, and overseeing monthly Department Credit card transactions.
  • Meticulously audit and track showroom décor, props, and items, coordinating orders with suppliers as needed for timely procurement. Ensure LED screen content in showrooms aligns with the marketing calendar and maintain music and scent across all showrooms
  • Conduct showroom visits according to the changeover schedule and as required for ad hoc events, ensuring consistent brand representation and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the department's long-term strategy by providing valuable insights and support in strategic planning and execution.


About You:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within a retail or office environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in organisational tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Proficient in strategic planning and scheduling, adept at optimising resources and prioritising tasks.
  • Exceptional time-management abilities, enabling efficient completion of tasks within deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills, capable of analysing complex situations and making sound decisions.
  • Rapid adaptation and quick-learning capabilities to grasp new concepts and technologies swiftly.
